    On Sunday I celebrated 1 year since officially becoming a vegan, my veganniversary if you will! Whilst I’d been pretty much plant-based since the start of 2017, an upcoming trip to New York with the university as a gluten-free newbie vegan would have been hella complicated. Looking back, with a year of experience under my belt, it totally would have been possible to navigate!     When planning my Europe trip last summer, Happy Cow was recommended by multiple bloggers and vloggers. In essence, its a search engine for vegan and veggie options around the world; Trip Advisor for herbivores!     Finding Fabulous Vegan Food: Berlin

    This past summer I was fortunate enough to spend a week in Berlin. Well, I fell head over heels in love with the city! From the rich history of the wall and Brandenburg Gate to the up and coming vibrant neighbourhood of Kreuzberg, Berlin really has it all.

    And of course, Berlin is a vegan paradise! It’s obvious why Happy Cow listed it as one of their top vegan cities in 2017. Whilst in a week it wasn’t possible to try every eatery, I definitely made a good attempt. What’s more, for a capital city in Western Europe, Berlin was surprisingly inexpensive! Read more
